- Customer Interaction: Meet with clients, both in person and via phone or virtual meetings, to discuss their insurance needs and provide personalized service.
- Policy Explanation: Clearly and effectively explain various insurance coverages, terms, and conditions to clients to ensure they understand their policies.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ insurance needs to recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, policy details, and any changes in coverage.
- Sales Support: Assist in the sales process by identifying potential cross-selling and up-selling opportunities based on client needs.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including underwriters and claims adjusters, to provide comprehensive service to clients.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience in the insurance industry or a related field is highly desirable.
- Licensing: Must hold or be willing to obtain necessary state insurance licenses.
